Our client is a reputable building organization with many projects spread across Sydney. Providing a complete “concept to completion” building construction solution to the residential, commercial and civil sectors. They are currently seeking experienced construction worker, offering a great work environment and opportunity for progression in the company.
The Construction worker will work as part of a team to perform a variety of tasks to support construction projects. The Construction worker may also be responsible for operating machinery and power tools, assisting skilled trades people, and completing other tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Preparing sites for construction.
- Using power tools, such as drills and saws.
- Shoveling materials to and from construction sites.
- Digging trenches.
- Disposing of waste materials.
- Rubbish Removal off site.
- Operating excavator or bobcat
- Loading and unloading construction supplies.
What you'll need:
- Familiarity with construction tools and equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Good communication and time management skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Experience in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to read plans
- Reliable performer
