The Queensland Building and Construction Commission is the regulating body for the licensing of building contractors in Queensland. Glaziers require a builders licence with the indicated licence class of Glass, Glazing and Aluminum to perform work exceeding $3000.
In order to qualify for a QBC builders licence or trade contractor licence for glaziers, applicants must have successfully completed one of the following:
Alternatively, the applicant may furnish a certificate of recognition as a qualified glazier, or a certificate of attainment for the required competencies in the licence class.
