Dry Plastering Trade Licence Western Australia

Interested in this qualification?

    Plastering professions in Western Australia (WA) requires working at heights, and therefore, require additional licensing, namely:

    • Perform High Risk Work licence
    • Construction Induction Card

    Additionally, they should be members of the Housing Industry Association or the Master Builders Association.

    Requirements

    In Western Australia, applicants are screened based on their qualifications and experience. Applicants must choose the most appropriate pathway for their needs:

    Set 1

    • CPC50210 Diploma of Building Construction (or equivalent qualification)
    • 7+ years of experience supervising construction work
    • Form 05 Building Practitioner Set 1 initial application

    Set 2

    • Level 1 or 2 membership of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects
    • Institute of Engineers, Australia membership as Fellow, Member or Chartered Professional Engineer
    • Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy membership as Fellow or Member
    • Registration under the Architects Act 2004
    • Form 06 Building Practitioner Set 2 initial application

    Set 3

    • Australian Institute of Building membership (Member or Fellow)
    • 5+ years experience in supervising, carrying out, or managing construction
    • Form 07 Building Practitioner Set 3 initial application

    Set 4

    • CPC50210 Diploma of Building Construction (or equivalent qualification)
    • 5+ years experience in building construction supervision or management
    • Form 08 Building Practitioner Set 4 initial application
    • Form 48 Intention to sit Board Examinations

    Set 5

    • CPC50210 Diploma of Building Construction (or equivalent qualification)
    • 7+ years experience in building work experience
    • Form 09 Building Practitioner Set 5 initial application
    • Form 48 Intention to sit Board Examinations

    How to Apply

    Submit your applications and supporting documents, along with your $200 fee and lodge it in person or by mail at the Building Commission, who will refer your application to the Building Services Board.
